Dad here, for a little contemplation on my dear boy Elliot. In actuality, more of a reflection on myself as a parent. Recently I have found myself giving Elliot things that I didn't have when I was growing up. My case in point: As a child, we were not allowed to have sugared cereal for breakfast, except for maybe on Saturday mornings, if we were good. Now with Elliot, I've thrown caution to the wind, ignoring the plethora of 'mommy blogs' denouncing large amounts of sugar in the morning... something about kids running around in a sugar-induced frenzy of destruction. I have yet to witness this, but that may coincide with the fact that I leave the house right after breakfast and head to work. Now is it coincidental that Heather is usually a bit more bedraggled when I get home on days that start in this fashion? Most likely. So what follows is Elliot purposely and methodically eating the best part of our favorite staple of breakfast nutrition -Lucky Charms.

Ha ha, I used to do the same thing as a kid. Heck, I do the same thing now. I eat the icky corn part first thus leaving the yummy marshmallows for last. And since the marshmallows sit in the milk for so long, it turns the milk a nice sugary syrup that is the best chaser for all of those yummy marshmallows!

Hahaha! That's so cute! No plain shredded wheat or corn flakes for this boy!

It's amazing, because Aaron did the same thing! When Aaron and Amel were about 3 and Noah was 1, Heller put them in only their diapers, and sat them down in their room and gave them each a whole box of sugared cereal and then closed the door. Five minutes later we opened it, and each boy was sitting on top of his pile of cereal shoving it in with both hands and occasionally stealing a piece from the other boy's pile. I wish I had a picture of it, but I can see it in my mind! Great video, and Aaron, your commentary is PERFECT! Love you all
