First Day of Preschool!!

Abbie started preschool today! She was a little nervous after we got to school, but she did settled in and had a fun first day :) Her teachers Mrs. Fenstermaker and Mrs. Penderson said she did great!







We are so proud of you Abbie! It's going to be a great year :)

KINDERGARTEN!

He was so excited to ride the bus! I hope he has a great day- he loved his penguin class room and being at the yellow table in Mrs. Weddle's class. I'll post more soon!

First Reds Game

Today we went to see the Reds play the Pirates. It was a great first game for the kids- even though the Pirates squeaked out a win in the last inning. I'm not sure how much game watching Abbs and Elliot did, but I do know they had a grand time! Hotdogs, popcorn, lemonade, balloons and ice cream in caps ( I still remember when my dad bought me my first sundae in a reds cap :) ) The kids each got a reds hat, a first game certificate with free shirt, and we stayed all the way to the end to run the bases. A perfect day.

Trip to the Aquarium-

of which I have no pictures...it was super busy so all energy was spent tracking two children who like to run in opposite directions, and trying to calm Abbie down from a near panic attack over the Penguin mascot who was there to hug all the kids. My kids have never been fans of people dressed up as large animals- but Abbie literally jumped back two feet when she saw this thing. She then refused to walk and had a death grip on my neck for the next 30 minutes. We managed to escape the penguin and the kids had a great time-topped off by Grandma letting them pick out toys in the gift store- I have pictures of the toys ;) Elliot decided at dinner that night to try out his first big brother-can-torture-his-little-sister move by saying this to Abbie - "Abbie remember that big penguin at the aquarium? He is coming to our house to get you!" "No Elliot! Noooo!" Can you feel the love? :)

Happy Valentine's Day!

Pictures from today- Elliot had a party at school and then his friend came over to play. And two movies- if i can get them to upload ;) One of Abbie's gymnastics class - she loves it - and one of Elliot's half birthday celebration at school (for the kids who have summer birthdays) - he was so excited about his star wars cupcakes, lol!
