I was talking to one of my best girlfriends the other day, and she mentioned how it sounded like things were going so smoothly - from the blog entries. I don't want everyone to think I'm super mom...thus I will re-cap this morning for you - which is quite typical (sorry to those of you who are about to experience this first hand!)
5am- feed Abbie, give up on trying to get her to go to sleep in her bed, and fall asleep with her lying on me
5:50am- Elliot wakes up crying- and calling for mom and dad until we go open his door
6am- Aaron gets in the shower, Abbie decides she wants to eat again, elliot still whining while he tries to snuggle up on my belly and push Abbie out of the way
6:30am- Elliot is still whining, but now for warm milk, which Aaron gets while I try and find bowls and spoons for cereal. Leave the boys to the cereal and jump in the shower and throw on something that I hope doesn't smell like sour milk.
7:30am- Say good bye to daddy, Elliot is now whining for Elmo and Abbie needs her third diaper of the morning.
It's 8:30 pm and I just realized I forgot to brush my teeth. Not as smooth as butter, that's for sure :)

It is funny that I am reading this as 15 minutes ago I was halfway through dailing your number when I realized it was 6:30 in the morning in Washington. You are a great mom! What your blog really shows is how much you love Elliot and Abbie and how lucky they are to have you and Aaron as parents. It's not easy, but it is so worth it!
