Summer...in May!

We've had a great couple of weeks of warm weather- I know this is just the beginning, but after so many years of cool, rainy summers, it's been a lot of fun being outside so much. So we spent the weekend at a baseball game with Gramps- and finishing the new swing set. And the kids have not stopped playing on it. We were out there swinging at 8am this morning ;) The baseball game was great- the kids had a lot of fun, and Elliot can't wait to play t-ball this summer. Elliot will finish his first year of school this week. I can hardly believe it. He still likes school, although he has expressed to his teachers that he would rather do what he wants to do than what they want him to do. We're working on that. He has a closing program tomorrow night that I'll post pics of - although he has already told me that he only wants to sing in his forehead-so I don't expect he will be performing with the other kids :) Abbie is a 21 month old going on 4yrs old. She has decided that she only wants to wear pink, and refuses to even consider another color of clothing. Still babbling more than talking, but with full hand gestures, facial expressions and inflections so its really not hard at all to know what she is saying!

Did you move the swingset? It looks like it is in a different position. It is a great swingset!

Glad you're all enjoying this beautiful summer weather; it sounds like Abbie and Elliot are having lots of fun! And don't worry, Elliot, I prefer to sing in my forehead, too :-) Can't wait to see you guys next weekend!

Love,
