Go Bengals!

So finally we get to see a Bengals game, since they played the Seahawks last Sunday - Elliot loves to watch football with his daddy. These pictures were taken while the Bengals were winning - sigh. Oh and the socks were from an earlier outfit - not that that makes them any better - hee hee.

Dad: The thing that these still pictures can't portray adequately, is Elliot's enthusiasm for the game. When the QB is passing, Elliot's arms are up and swinging. When they run down the sideline, Elliot is a stompin' fool. This stomping is also the same as his musical two step, and his "I'm happy-happy" dance, so maybe he's dancing around the football field, which means he's meant for the marching band instead of the offensive line. Or maybe it's just that he has his dancing socks on. Regardless, it looks like football season will be fun :)

Heather, this is another reason why you should become the trainer for the Bengals!

Also, I like the socks- very J Crew.

Greetings Smiths!

We are enjoying reading about your adventures on your web site! I must say, those were the biggest "snails" I've ever seen (when Aaron wrote about Heather being afraid of the snails, I was picturing the little garden snails we get here in Ohio, but MAN... those are some honkin' snails, and actually looked like their shells were quite pretty).

About Elliot's Bengal's football watching... The poor little guy! Its ok right now, since he's just enjoying the general action of the game and can't tell that the Bengals are pathetic. But in a couple more years, if he continues following the Bengals, I fear he will learn some very tough life lessons at a tender age... Such as "winning isn't everything" and "you get what you pay for" (in terms of quality football players). Let's just hope it doesn't scar him too much... (Hehe)

Love,
