New Things

Elliot is 14 months now, and I was trying to think of all the new things he has started doing - and as I was contemplating it he started blowing spit bubbles for the first time - now there is a milestone you don't see in all the books! And it wasn't like the little spit that bubbles out as babies babble, nope this was well planned and consisted of several sizes of bubbles. It also went on for the majority of the afternoon- interspersed with a new clicking noise, I think he's doing with his tongue. On a more mentally challenging note- he has started stacking blocks, and is trying to talk - so far he has said: du - duck, tu - truck, na - no, and everything else is "da" or "dis". Of course sometimes the cow is "du" too, so who knows :) We're going to the pumpkin farm tomorrow and I think I'm more excited than anyone else- I'll definitely have pictures! Oh and thank you grandma and grandpa smith for the cute Elephant onesie - he walks around pointing at the elephants and making his elephant sounds- hee hee!
