I realize he is a little young for this, but since he has many artistic relatives, and his dad is pretty artsy too, I gave Elliot his first water colors. We've already tried crayons (he ate them), finger paints (ate this too), play dough (very tasty) and markers (bad idea all around). So the paints didn't fair much better - although the front of his hair is now a nice shade of pink. Maybe hairstyling is in his future.
