30 weeks...really?

So I was looking at the calender, and apparently I'm 30 weeks pregnant now. With Elliot, I could tell you how many weeks, days, hours until my due date - along with all of the wonderful things that were happening to him. Sadly with this one, there are days when I kind of forget I'm having a baby. Yes, the huge belly does give it away, but Elliot keeps me rather all consumed - you would be too if you heard "Uh Oh" coming from the little guy every 3 minutes. Trust me, you don't want to know what the Uh Oh was about today, sigh. Anyway, I have a million things to do before this baby gets here, and I'm hoping I will get them done. At my last appointment they realized my due date is actually August 29, not the 23rd, so now the c-section is scheduled for the 27th. Sounds like a good date to me, even if I am measuring about 3 weeks bigger than I'm supposed to be at this point :) She is an active little thing- there must still be room in there because she seems to flip flop around several times a day, as well as kick my bladder as soon as there is an ounce of liquid in it. I'm excited to see what it will be like to have another girl in the house, and some dolls to take the place of all the trucks. Elliot has decided her name is either blue or purple, depending on how he's feeling. He still loves to lay his head on my belly and tries to talk to her through my belly button. I know the next 10 weeks will fly by, and I'm savoring this time with Elliot - remembering what he was like as an infant, and enjoying the little boy he is quickly becoming - trying to take it easy and relish the quiet times, knowing full well it will be another few years before I get any down time again! But it all goes so fast - I truly can't believe how quickly they go from babies to toddlers to kids :)

And speaking of little kids- we signed Elliot up for soccer! He starts in a few weeks, but I really couldn't resist buying him some soccer gear - so here he is - the future all star!
