Introducing Abigail Catherine Smith. Abbie was born this morning at 8:45. She weighs 6 pounds, 8 ounces, and is 19 1/2" long. We are so excited to hold her in our arms! And we can't believe how much hair she has!

CONGRATULATIONS! Thank god for the internet. I couldn't wait any longer to see Abigail. Wow, she is adorable! We are SO excited for you. I am super jealous about all that hair because Steamboat is losing his this week. I can better understand what you guys are going through right now and I wish I could be there to help and make you meals! Heather, I hope you recover quickly; be sure to take it as easy as you can. Oh, oh, oh! Congratulations! I had to drive down around the hospital this morning and it took everything I had not to just start peeking in windows hoping to get a glimpse. But I decided that it would not be good to get arrested for being a peeping Tom. We love you and are here if you need anything. I am so happy that everything went well. She is just beautiful and I love love love the hair!
I am in awe. Thrilled for the four of you. The looks on your faces are so incredibly telling -- all three. And I loved being able to hear her cry. Thank you so very much. LaLa
