Today was Abbie's first doctor visit and she is growing very quickly. In fact, Dr. Barrio said she had the biggest weight gain in one week he's ever seen :) He announced her to be in perfect health, said we looked pretty good too - and then he spent the next 30 minutes playing with Elliot :)
So here are Abbie's "stats":
Birth wt: 6lbs, 8 oz
Today: 7lbs, 12 oz
Birth length: 19.5 in
Today: 20 in
So if you are wondering what i've been doing the past week....the answer is nursing, a lot :) But we're all getting a bit of sleep and I'm amazed at how well things are going thus far and hoping that Abbie decides to be more of a sleeper than Elliot! Thanks to everyone for the phone calls and emails and we can't wait for all of you to meet her soon!
