So Abbie has taken to sitting. She does it pretty well - and even has started to use her hands to catch herself if she falls to the side. I think Aaron and I have determined why she's caught on to sitting so quickly- a very large tummy to balance on! Truly that nice little role must help distribute the weight :) We've also let her experiment with some food and she tastes it and then decides she likes to play more than eat. It does keep her entertained at the table while we're having dinner ;) And finally- the sitting/moving Abbie has decided she likes Elliot's toys more than her own, much to the chagrin of Elliot. Poor little guy is now getting daily lessons on "sharing" and "taking turns". Not surprising, his new favorite word is "MINE!" which is pronounced very clearly and with a lot of gusto :)
